  3. How do I book an airline ticket using OS Travel?

    Simply enter your departure and arrival information in the OS Travel request page using city names or 3 digit IATA standard city codes. Our Internet Booking Engine performs a comprehensive search of the fares in the OS Travel database as well major airline sites so you receive a complete search. Next, select the flights that most closely match your travel plans and complete the purchase by input of required information. Once you have completed your purchase, an Electronic Airline ticket will emailed to you within one business day.
    Rest assured that there is a seat waiting for you aboard the plane. Flights are only booked and confirmed once you have been issued a confirmation number via e-mail. You can always confirm your reservation and seat directly with the airline as well.

    Email Us: We have to reserve or book the flights in order to guarantee you the price quoted. Please include the name of each passenger as it will appear on the Passport when requesting availability. We make every effort to respond to all requests within 24 hours, however please allow up to 2 business days for us to confirm availability depending on the day of the week and the season.

  5. Do you sell Travel Insurance?

At the time of booking the option to purchase travel insurance is available. Emergencies can happen to even the most well prepared traveler. Remember to take your travel insurance card with you on the trip, just in case.

  6. What is an E-ticket?

    An E-ticket (or “electronic ticket”) is a paper-less ticket. Instead of receiving a physical ticket, a confirmation number is sent to you via email to be used at the airport check-in with your photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) to receive your boarding pass.
    Using an E-ticket is very simple and completely secure. Most airlines offer E-tickets and they make up 95% of the tickets we issue. E-tickets have many benefits. You cannot lose an E-ticket since your ticket is your confirmation number and photo identification. And in the event that you forget the confirmation number, the flight number or your name with identification will do the job.

  7. If I purchase an E-ticket, what do I get as proof of that purchase?

    Customers buying E-tickets will be sent a confirmation number and e-ticket via e-mail. Travelers can present that number at the time of airport check-in along with appropriate identification.

  8. What form of payments are accepted by OS Travel?

    OS Travel accepts all major credit cards including: American Express, Mastercard, VISA as well as Interac.

  9. Once I purchase a ticket from OS Travel, when can I expect to receive it?

    Electronic airline tickets will emailed to you within one to two business days. In the rare case that the airline does not offer an Electronic Ticket we will issue a Paper Ticket. If we are issuing a Paper Ticket we will contact you via email or telephone to confirm the preferred mailing address with you. All paper tickets will be shipped as they are ticketed.

  10. If I live outside of Canada or the United States, can I purchase my airline tickets through OS Travel?

    OS Travel will sell to airline tickets by credit card to residents outside of the United States or Canada, some cases we will require a copy of your driver’s licences or passport to complete the sale.

  11. Why have I been contacted to provide a copy of a driver’s license or passport when purchasing something from your site?

  12. Do I need to register before I shop for airline tickets on OS Travel?

    Registration and passwords are not required to search for fares or to reserve and purchase fares on OS Travel. All information is conducted through a secure server, so you can feel safe when entering your personal information.

  13. What should I know before I buy airline tickets from OS Travel?

    OS Travel accepts American Express, Mastercard, VISA credit cards and Interac. All payments are taken in Canadian dollars. When paying by credit card from another country your credit card company will convert the Canadian dollar amount to your local currency.
    Once international reservations have been made and you have provided payment to us, YOUR RESERVATION CANNOT BE CHANGED without large penalties (usually $300 or more depending upon the airline). Additionally, INTERNATIONAL CONSOLIDATOR TICKETS ARE USUALLY NONREFUNDABLE.
    Beginning with the first scheduled day of travel, your tickets are completely non-refundable and usually non changeable. Any schedule changes must be made before the original departure date. To ensure credit card security, all reservations must be made in the EXACT name of the person traveling – nicknames cannot be used. For international travel, the name on the reservation must be EXACTLY as it appears on the traveler’s passport. OS Travel has established these procedures to prevent credit card fraud and protect our customers.
